Parents’ Do’s and Don’ts

Akshaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School believes that parents and teachers are partners in a child’s educational journey. To ensure the smooth functioning of the school and the overall development of students, parents are requested to follow the guidelines given below.

Parents’ Do’s

  • Parents should ensure that their ward attends school regularly and punctually.
  • Parents must pay the school fees within the stipulated time as prescribed by the management.
  • Parents are encouraged to attend Parent–Teacher Meetings regularly to monitor their child’s academic progress and behaviour.
  • Parents should check the school diary daily and sign wherever required.
  • Parents should support the school in maintaining discipline and inculcating good values in their children.
  • Parents should communicate any concerns or issues through proper channels with prior appointment.

Parents’ Don’ts

  • Parents or guardians are not permitted to enter classrooms during school hours.
  • Parents are not allowed to meet teachers during class hours without prior permission from the Principal.
  • Parents should not interrupt teaching or school activities without valid reasons.
  • Parents, guardians, or visitors are not permitted to meet students or teachers during school hours without authorization.
  • Parents should avoid encouraging absenteeism or indiscipline among students.

Parent–Teacher Interaction

  • Parents are allowed to meet teachers only after 4:00 P.M. with prior intimation.
  • All discussions should be respectful, constructive, and focused on the student’s welfare and progress.
